We are delighted to announce a partnership between Circklo and global law firm CMS to provide enhanced support for dynamic early-stage technology start-ups.

With more than 80 offices in over 40 countries and 5,000+ lawyers worldwide, CMS offers deep local market understanding with a global perspective, making it the perfect legal partner to support Circklo’s digital and impact tech start-up ecosystem.  Circklo’s members will receive expert advice from CMS on their draft term sheets, as evidence of further clear support that Circklo provides its members and those attending the Business Configurator programmes, as well as a range of legal support as they grow and develop.

David Landsman OBE PhD, Circklo’s Group Partner and the architect of this partnership between CMS and Circklo said that “It’s great to be working with CMS, a law firm that really understands the needs of the start-up community, through the CMS equIP programme and with the support of a world-class team of technology and commercial lawyers. I’ve seen their advice at first hand and am convinced that Circklo couldn’t have found a better partner.”

Charles Kerrigan, partner at CMS comments: “It’s great to be joining forces with Circklo to provide the tech start-up community with comprehensive legal and business support to complement Circklo’s Business Configurator programmes. Through our CMS equIP programme, we have developed a strong track record of supporting some of the world’s brightest new businesses to lay critical foundations to set them up for success.”

CMS equIP is the only international programme driven by a law firm that is focused on the development and nurturing of tech start-ups worldwide. It is designed to give scale-ups and entrepreneurs the tools they need to grow and succeed, offering members access to mentoring, training and industry introductions as well as discounted legal advice to help accelerate their growth potential. Since the programme’s launch, CMS equIP has worked with startups in over 20 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and America.

About Circklo
