Circklo Supports University Of Wales Trinity St David Harmonious Entrepreneurship Competition

Circklo is delighted to support The Harmonious Entrepreneurship Society’s (HES) online competition, under the patronages of The University of Wales Trinity St David (UWTSD) and International University of Malaya-Wales (IUMW). HES was founded by Prof David Kirby and Entrepreneurial Learning Champion Felicity Healey-Benson of the University of Wales Trinity St David, and its aim is to promote and advance harmonious approaches to entrepreneurship to address the sustainability challenge facing the planet.
HES 2022 competition is designed to encourage and help UWTSD & IUMW university students and staff learn about entrepreneurship through generating practical and innovative new ventures that address the sustainability challenge.
Interdisciplinary teams of up to 6 people (which may include two staff members) will compete online by developing an idea for an entrepreneurial start-up that addresses the Sustainability Challenge and embraces a triple bottom line of profit-planet-people.
Six teams from stage one will be invited to research their ideas more fully and present them orally and in writing to a panel of expert judges, Circklo’s Chairwoman Maria Morais being one of those judges. All entrants will receive a certificate of participation and feedback.
The three winning teams of HES 2022 competition will receive a cash prize, mentoring and support, with the possibility of being offered a free place in Circklo’s start-up Business Configurator (the equivalent of almost £3,000) and one-year free access to Circklo’s Game Changers Community.
